Every morning honey and I would walk to the village and get a coffee from these two cute. Young men who had quite an innovative little business going. They had converted their beach buggy into a coffee wagon and set up the cutest coffee shop ever.

Friday, April 4, 2014. Capitalism - Feudalism without the King. DM spend just 2 weeks shy of 1 year on hospice and during the last five weeks she moved from a waiting mode to an actively dying mode. She remained at home during the entire time and I was her only caregiver. Which was never a problem until very near the end when she became unresponsive and I was unable to turn her without help from a very attentive hospice nurse or DH. All Friday and Saturday, DM lay, unresponsive, mouth agape.

A bit of Gardening, baking, blogging, knitting, sewing, family, friends and discovering hidden treasures along the way. Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Popping in to say hello to all of you that are still out there! Zinnias and dahlias from the garden. Put them in jars and put a sign at the end of the driveway -. Hoping people with smile! Made a batch of cookies for my mom today.

Thursday, July 24, 2014. When I first walked into my new house one of the first things I noticed was they had built too many walls downstairs that were blocking the view. They just had to come down! So this week my builders have been busy knocking out walls. As you can see from my front door, the first thing you see when you walk up to it is a wall.

The Triumph, left from Galveston TX and went to Progresso Mexico, Cozumel and then back home. For my first cruise I got to meet a lot of nice people and had a blast. There were a few moments I wonder why I was doing this. Here are only a few snap shots, enjoy! .
